The Dubai Desert Classic is an annual professional golf tournament which is usually played in February or March. It takes place in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and is part of the European Tour Schedule. It is played on the "Majlis" course at Emirates Golf Club. The event is notable for attracting some of the biggest stars in the world of golf.
Dubai World Cup (March)
The Dubai World Cup is a Thoroughbred horse race held annually since 1996 at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The race is operated through the Emirates Horse Racing Authority (EHRA) whose Chairman is Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs of Dubai. It is the world's richest horse race, with a purse of USD 6 million since 2004.

Dubai Summer Surprises is a government initiative begun in 1998 that attracted thousands of tourists during the summer months.
